Manchester Airport Parking

For short stay parking of less than 24 hours there is the multi-storey car park. This car park is undercover and only a short walk to check-in. Its ideal for dropping off and picking up friends and family or for a short business trip. For stays of more than 24 hours we recommend the long stay car parks, which are more cost effective but still only 5-10 minutes transfer time with a free shuttle bus every 10 mins. Alternatively, you can walk to the terminals from these on-airport car parks and depending on where you’ve found a space for your car it should take between 5-15 minutes. For longer stays of 7 days or more you can get better rates with the off-airport car parks. These operate a free shuttle bus running every 15 mins and taking between 5-15 to get to the terminals.

Long Stay Parking at Manchester Airport

The best way to find cheap manchester airport parking is to compare prices between on-airport and off-airport car parks here. The on-airport car parks are simply called Long Stay. They are situated in two locations close to Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Depending on where you park in the car parks the free shuttle bus will take 5-10 minutes and runs every 10 minutes. The off-airport car parks are called JetParks 1, 2 and 3 plus JetParks Ringway. They are both car parks official car parks operated by Manchester Airport. The difference is their location. For Terminal 2 the closest car park is JetParks 1 and 2, and for Terminals 2 and 3 its JetParks 3 and JetParks Ringway. All JetParks car parks have free bus transfers to the airport. These run every 15 minutes and take between 7-13 minutes. You park your car and keep the keys. This car park is secure holding the Park Mark security award. It is well lit for arrivals late at night and operates Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), for simple and quick, entry and exit. APH Manchester is in Bradnor Road, Sharston Ind, Area Manchester M22 4TE. Its an off-airport car park not affiliated to the airport. The difference with JetParks is that you hand in your keys with APH as they will park your car for you. Secured with CCTV, 24-hour patrols and a barrier-controlled entry and exit system this award-winning car park is only 10-15 minutes from the airport.

Short Stay Parking

The short stay car parks are on-airport. There is the Multi-storey and the Long Stay car park. For short stay parking of less than 24 hours there is the multi-storey car park. Meet & Greet and Valet Parking

We have three companies offering Meet & Greet Parking at Manchester Airport. All of them offer the same service. That is being met at the departure terminal by a chauffeur who will take your car to secure storage area close to the airport. Meet and Greet T1, 2 & 3 – Official Airport Service When you reach the entrance to the terminal 1 Meet and Greet car park, press the help button and quote your booking reference number and name to a member of staff. Make sure you don’t take a ticket. Once you have parked, unload your luggage and enter the Valet reception to drop off your key. You will be given a receipt, which you should keep safe for when you get back. Take your luggage from your car and let the car park team check your car over, then just follow the footpath into Terminal 1. Purple Parking Meet & Greet Your chauffeur will be waiting for you with a luggage trolley. They’ll check your car for damage and then show you where to go to check in while they take your car to the secured car park. Your car will be stored at: Norman Road, Altrincham, Manchester WA14 4EN Skypark Meet & Greet Pull up at the designated area (as agreed on the phone) where a chauffeur will be waiting to drive your car to the secured car park. Then carry on to check-in. On your return, give Skypark Meet and Greet a call so you can arrange where to meet your chauffeur who will return your car. Your car will be stored in Skypark’s secured multi-storey car park.

Many people ask for Valet Parking. This is the same service as Meet & Greet Parking. In the UK we call it Meet & Greet while in the US they call it Valet Parking.

Public Transport to Manchester Airport

If you can’t find cheap manchester airport parking and decide to travel to the airport by public transport there a number of ways in which you can travel directly to the terminals. Train services run 7 days a week through national train operators ‘Trans Pennine Express’ and ‘Northern Rail’. From Manchester Piccadilly, trains run every 10 minutes. the average journey time is 20 minutes. There are also dedicated lines running to other major cities throughout the UK.
